Sanne Hofker

Hi, I’m Sanne Hofker (b. 2001, Den Bosch, The Netherlands), a Rotterdam-based photographer and art director. I graduated Cum Laude from AKI ArtEZ Academy of the Arts in 2023, and since then, I’ve been carving out my path in both the commercial and artistic worlds of photography.  

My work is all about creating visually striking images that balance stylization with spontaneity. I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources—whether it’s experimenting with modern technologies or revisiting the timeless techniques and compositions of photography’s old masters. The ever-changing world around me is one of my greatest influences, and I love making work that responds to it.  

At the core of what I do is a desire to tell stories. I aim to transport viewers into my world, offering them a glimpse of the beauty and wonder I find around me. Whether I’m working with people or objects, my goal is to create images that make people pause, reflect, and perhaps see their own experiences and perspectives in a new light.
